Joško Gvardiol (18) is Leeds United bound.

He is a perfect example of a modern CB, using his strength, speed and good passing to dominate.

He is 1,85m and still dominant in the air, more room to grow at just 18.

He scored his first goal on his debut for Dinamo Zagreb.

He is also very versatile, he possess great speed for a CB so he can also play LB (Last week against Benfica in the UYL because of injuries in Dinamo U19)

He often likes to advance with the ball and be part of the build-up which a lot of teams require for a CB in this age.

The biggest thing that stands out for me is his mentality and matureness. Although he only played 11 senior games, he is always calm on the ball.

Dinamo subbed him in when their CB got a red in the UCL Qualifs. against Cluj. It would cost Dinamo 15M if they got knocked out-

at this stage but Joško stepped up and was very solid throughout the game.

He scored them the winning penalty which got them through the 3rd round. A lot on the shoulders for an 18 year-old.

11 Senior games, only 18 years old and 20 Million Euros.

One would say that is a very big gamble, but I've never seen a player come out of Croatia which such matureness and talent at 18 years old.

Personally I would've liked him to stay at Dinamo for a bit longer so he can-

develop further but if Leeds can offer him constant playing time, I don't see how that would be a bad move.
