So I just got home to find out a Marine I served with killed himself last night. He called 911 only to give his address for them to announce his death to friends and family. 911 operator said it sounded like he sliced his throat. He was 53 years old. 1/3

He wrote a note for the authorities to find when they showed up. Here is the short version. "I relied on the mail which I wasn't receiving for my med and I lost his job because of the pandemic. I felt dead anyways. I voted for Trump and feel so ashamed, so I'm offing myself." 2/3
Suicide is no joke. So many innocent people dying today. He served his country and this is the thanks he gets. What a cruel and dark times we live in. Take nothing for granted. Here is another person I am having to see buried. 3/3
