Gotta be honest, Bella Thorne writing and directing a porn feels less like “reducing stigma” and more like “slumming it”

Not only is she not the first mainstream celeb to dip their toes into porn production, it’s also just like... blessing porn with your brief presence is not actually working to reduce stigma against the industry.

So many mainstream celebs are just parasites on the porn industry, stopping by the awards, getting the industry to help realize their own personal fantasy on film, and then going back to their normal lives after they can no longer get cred for their porn affiliation.

If you want to reduce stigma against porn and sex work, start by giving a shit about porn performers and sex workers even when you get *absolutely no personal benefit from it*.

Seriously though I would argue that Dave Navarro has done more to destigmatize porn than Bella Thorne
