Now I'm doing a BATMAN VILLAINS THREAD.

I've decided to embrace my new role as crazy Batman girl. But this thread, unlike the romansu one, will be pretty bare bones and just kind of keep track of who the villains are and where they appear.

Will update as I go.
Alfred Stryker
Debut issue: detective comics 27
Stryker was committing murders in order to gain full control of a company. He fell into a vat of acid to his death at the end of his first appearance.
Catwoman
Debut issue: Batman 1
Obviously we all know who Catwoman is. She first appears as a jewel thief on a yacht masquerading as an old lady. Batman “accidentally” allows her to escape at the end of the story. At this point she was known as the Cat.
Next appears in issue 2 where she bargains with Batman to avoid being arrested and competes with the joker to get some cool jewelry.
Doctor Death, Jabah and Mikhail
Debut issue: Detective Comics 29

Dr Karl Hellfern invents a “death pollen” that he intends to use to extract tribute from wealthy people in exchange for their lives. At the end of his first issue he is set on fire and believed dead.
However, an issue 30 he reappears and seeks revenge. He’s revealed to be terribly scarred from the fire and arrested at the end of the issue. His accomplices were Jabah and Mikhail, both described as Cossacks.
Dr. Hugo Strange
Debut issue: detective comics 36
The first of our classic villains to appear. He’s initially using a fog machine that has something to do with lightning to create poor visibility in the city so that he can loot it. … Man he’s always been big.
Strange reappears in the first issue of Batman, where we first see his signature allies, The Monster Men.
The Joker
Debut issue: Batman 1
I don’t know who this guy is I don’t think he’ll ever appear again.

Initially obsessed with collecting jewels, and prone to murdering the rightful owners. Appears in two stories in issue one.
He was next scene in the second issue, we are a gang broke him out of prison in the hopes he would help them steal jewels. He betrayed them and went solo.
The Monk and Dala
Debut issue: detective comics 31

The monk is a werewolf with hypnotic powers. He is allied with both werewolves and vampires, one of which is Dala. He really just disappears at the end of issue 32, as does she. Bruce kills all the other vampires though.
