We can’t spend three months saying we, as anarchists, aren’t behind the uprising and then say we need to switch tactics because someone got shot back.

Watch your wording, they already said they’re out to prosecute us.
That said, there are limitations to an insurrection. When the state and its allies fully unleash that force? Yeah, you can’t win.

That is why it’s important to point out how, historically speaking, successful revolts used multiple strategies.
In the case of anticolonial resistance that means a lot more mobility and a lot less (to zero) reliance upon state infrastructure. Makes targeting that and identifying bottlenecks easier, when that is the desired effect.
I have plenty of reservations about revolution as an intrinsically Western romance, but if a mass movement was to arise, it should have by now.
Whiteness is too much of a drug and politics too much of a vice.
People resisted calling this fascism too early and still have hope.
All the pieces are here but too many jumped on the Western tradition to find a solution when theirs never worked.
If there is a shift that will last, it means unsettling, it means land back, it means dethroning the white gods, all of them and to follow anti/decolonial struggles.
But don’t lose sight of your place.
We’ve seen months of organic unrest and the left tried to own it and haven’t. Liberals syphon the vote pitches, which appeals to white supremacy.
If it wasn’t anyone’s to own before, it still isn’t now. If there’s dialogue, be cautious w words.
