I’m sorry if I’m cynical or pragmatic, but many more people will die if Trump is re-elected.

We must act drastically to prevent that, even if that means putting our ideals on hold for just a moment.

I understand that we’re all passionate about stuff, I am too, but no progress will be made until we get rid of Trump and his enablers.

Many of you don’t seem to grasp what we’re up against, he will KILL people. Not just through incompetence, but through malice.

What we’re seeing now is just a taste of what a second term will look like: his supporters are gunning down people and being applauded for it, he’s parading his family around the White House like he’s a monarch and that’s his palace.

I understand that many things need to change, I understand many of you want the whole system tore down, but helping Trump become Hitler is not the way to do it.

His messaging around the protests is working, white rural women in swing states are going back to him.

Unless we act now, Trump will win. He will end democracy. He will kill his opponents. He will expand white supremacy in government.

It pains me that we have to pause fights on many fronts, it really does, but the cost of not doing it is simply too high.

Immigrants are in danger.
Women are in danger.
Black people are in danger.
Muslims are in danger.

Yes, they’ve always been in danger, but nothing like what is coming if Trump wins.

Let me say this again, the costs of failing to stop Trump are too high. The odds are total. We are in the final battle between democracy and authoritarianism.

Don’t let him win.
