A new study shows that conservatives are more likely to label protesters (even those simply chanting slogans) as "violent" if they disagree with the cause. In a previous video I talked about a study that found the general population doesn't like "extreme" protest (but are still swayed by them), which includes mean chants. This is just one reason you can safely ignore people like @ClaireBerlinski who claim protests will drive people to vote for Trump. The racists are already terrified, which is why they spin peaceful protest as extreme & violent. The answer is never to stop fighting for justice.
Just as you can scare a liberal into supporting war in Iraq, you may be able to educate & raise the self-esteem of a conservative into supporting human rights. Focus on agitating for change. And here's a perfect example. Research shows conservatives think peaceful protesters are "violent" which leads to them wanting free speech crackdowns. Conservative Steven Crowder states that "violent" protesters deserve to be murdered.
