So a few people have been really pissy at @pimlicat resigning from the Lib Dems. That's up to them, but what I won't accept is the rewriting of history that seems to have occurred. So let's go through it...
A Councillor accused her of recommending votes for Momentum candidates.

Firstly, in her professional job role (not as a Lib Dem) she recommended tactical voting. She also got a lot of stick from Labour for recommending tactical voting for LDs based on MRP polling.
Secondly, I've never been a fan of the idea of a PV, but Naomi was backing one long before the Lib Dems were. In fact, even in late 2018 the LDs were suggesting it was possible to have a referendum only on the "final deal", which was a disingenuous lie, frankly.
So a *certain MP's* false assertion she worked for the official PV campaign, thus making the insinuation that her efforts were somewhat miniscule is frankly laughable. The LDs came out for revoke far too late. They came out for a PV far too late. Naomi was always ahead.
I've worked with a lot of people in my time in the Lib Dems and very few have been as hard-working and dedicated as Naomi. So as for the "go away and join Labour" types, do remember that after the next general election when you try to explain why people took that advice.
As a party you are crying not just for relevance, but for a reason to exist anymore in the first place. You do not have the luxury to say to people leaving to shut the door behind them. Think about that.
