I've been learning @Shapr3D on iPad as a 3D design tool.

It's a lot of fun!

I used to watch my brother work with Autocad and other 3D platforms that required coding and working with a complex front-end design. It looked impossible to use.

#NoCode #systems #tooling #life
The type of work he was doing seemed unapproachable, to me. The tooling he used, made me feel inadequate.

It felt impossible to use.

When we're trying to bring ideas to life and we hit "blockers," it can be very discouraging.
Turning a field of work from unapproachable to approachable, increasing ease of use, and reducing the barrier to entry.

These are good things to do. ❤️

So many industries could be more accessible (especially with regards to things that are making anyone have a tough time).
In so many industries, the barrier to entry is usually a specific cognitive or physical load with a specific learning curve, over time.

Good tooling, systems, and structures can reduce the learning curve, and time-to-action to get from a "current state" to a "desired state."
I wanted to note that I'm sending the first part of this thread as a thank you note to the Shapr3D team.

You've built a wonderful library of educational tutorials and a really fun application to use. 😁
Thank you!!!
NoCode tooling is a wonderful space. It's a space that's embracing rapid change, innovation, learning, and fun.

We have A LOT of work to do over the next few decades.

I'm hopeful that it leads to further innovation in many areas of life.
There will always be folks that remind the world about the code or the inner workings of systems.

I value you each, deeply. ❤️

I hope that your energy can be channeled into building better ways to do things, rather than rigid absolute decisions about how things should be done.
NoCode as a space, is scary to a lot of my friends that are engineers, developers, coders, etc.

I hope that it doesn't feel like you're writing yourself out of a job.

I hope that you're encouraged by what people build, using tooling abstractions that you've created.
I hold onto hope for better days ahead for humanity. Staying hopeful is one of the only ways I know how to live.

When we're experiencing so much loss, grief and ambiguity about the future, it makes the ground feel uneasy beneath us.

This year has been heart wrenching, everyday.
I hope that each of us finds hope.

I hope that each of the things that each of us sees that needs to change are things that we feel we can do something to facilitate change.

I hope that we can work together to make this world a place we want to live.
2020 has been filled with dismay.

Disheartening moments, days, weeks and months of it already.

Beautiful hearts and souls are leaving or have been ripped away.

I hope that we honor each other and our loved ones, present and past, with a better future. ❤️🙏
Have strength, peace, courage, and hope, each of you that read this. ❤️

I hope that your week ahead gets better, that you're taking care of yourself, and having grace with yourself.

We're each fighting unseen battles. Know that you're not alone. ❤️
