Let's be clear: The agitators at these BLM protestors are:

1. Anarchist looking for an opportunity to break and burns things
2. Trump supporters looking for an opportunity to attack Democracts
3. Law enforcement looking for an opportunity to attack anyone

BLM is NOT the problem

But, Trump and the Right Wing News Machine (FOX and OANN) are spinning this and making it SOUND like BLM and anarchists are the same - they are not.

They are also making it sound like Trump supporters and Law Enforcement are the good guys - they are not.

The media is falling into it's 2016 "both sides" fever leading up the election, and that is having devastating consequences.

It is on US to counteract the lies that the media is spitting out. Especially to our friends and family in swing states and the suburbs.

We cannot change how the news sees this and it does not appear the protests are dying down.

As much as I wish protestors would suspend for the time being, that is not a realistic request. The issue is, continuing protests GIVES TRUMP VIDEO to lie about.

There could be 23 hrs and 50 minutes of peaceful protest in one day, but the 10 minutes could be a video of Trump supporters attacking BLM. Then the Right Wing Media ONLY shows the BLM response.

And that is it - BLM are anarchist, looting and burning.

I am not sure where I planned to land when I started this thread.

The point is we are fighting against a fire hose of misinformation. Trump has a HUGE platform to lie. FOX News has incentive to repeat those lies. Even MSM has incentive to lie.

So WE need to counter that.4
