hiring manager who dgaf about 18 month "stints" on your resume, checking in.

why? let's take that workers are people with autonomy and don't owe businesses a damn thing, especially "loyalty", as a given.

beyond that, there are many reasons why people leave jobs after 18 months. https://twitter.com/seanlinehan/status/1299852889511178240
a common pattern in tech:

you interview for job. nothing glaring turns up when you ask around about company. you get job, you start, you realize that the company is a trash fire. you vow to stay until you hit your 1 year cliff. after 1 yr, you start looking for the next job.
example trash fires that make people leave jobs quickly:

unchecked racism/sexism/ableism/homophobia
nepotism
extreme bro culture
extreme clique culture
immature leadership making obviously bad decisions
toxic sociopaths in c level roles
little to no career growth paths
no hr
for the "stay and make it better" folks: that's nearly impossible with no power.

you know what happens? the people in power who are ok with the trash fire will gaslight/harass/belittle/ostracize you until your mental health is at risk if you don't leave. or something like that.
normalize leaving a job that isn't right for you.
normalize leaving trash fire companies.

people should feel free to find the places they can thrive, without folks like OP being biased against them having "short stints" in the places they cannot.
