it has come to my attention that people don't know a lot about lgbt identities and the fact the lgbt acronym consists of umbrella terms !! so heres a thread of info on it

- the word queer has been used as a slur and may
be uncomfortable to some so generally don't use it if you're not lgbt+
- lgbt+ is an umbrella term of umbrella terms (see
the next tweets)

- "gay" as a word can be used to refer to people simply identifying as lesbian, gay, bisexual, pansexual, etc (so you can use it to substitute the word "queer"
in some cases)
