I am grateful for this nation and the opportunities it has a provided to a son of immigrant parents like myself. I recognize and acknowledge all the good that this country offers, however I am unable to stay quiet about the growing issues that surround our country
I feel the best possible to way move forward and improve as a country is to first recognize and diagnose an issue instead of avoiding difficult conversations. However I have noticed that many would like to think the days of racism ended when Jim Crow laws were abolished.
Idk who needs to hear this but I would like to state this as plain as possible. RACISM STILL EXIST. DISCRIMINATION AGAINST PEOPLE OF COLOR STILL EXIST.
My time in Utah has confirmed this for me. For my friends and family that feel differently, I invite you to have an honest conversation with me. I have these conflicting conversation with teammates all the time and always come out of it with better insight.
