If your mail ballot is postmarked by Election Day it has to get to where it's going by the day after election day. TX is claiming Harris County can't mail applications to everyone, because not everyone qualifies. This doesn't make sense for a wide variety of reasons, one of them being that you don't have to provide a reason to request an application in general. https://bit.ly/3lwA4uK

A Texas appellate court said it would not re-hear an appeal from Crystal Mason, who was sentenced to 5 years in prison for trying to vote while ineligible.
