A Reminder: It takes a lot of courage to live in this world. It takes courage to choose to laugh, love and be kind. It takes courage to maintain some softness and some quietness when so much of our survival demands for us to be hard, to be loud and brash.

But the bravest thing that we do is in choosing to see and believe in the world beyond what it IS to what it COULD be. The state of the world is so bleak and it is easy to be discouraged and to believe that nothing that we do matters.

Yet, every single day people choose to rise up and fight for what the world COULD be and for who we COULD be. Be grateful for every opportunity to learn, serve and build with others for the sake of our future and the generations to come.
