Why Ichigo’s “moment of happiness” during the final chapter had nothing to do with Ichiruki - A Thread

So back in chapter 680 Yhwach has the little quip that he’d return to kill Ichigo in his “moment of greatest happiness”. I’ve been seeing a lot of Ichiruki’s claim that he returned in the final chapter solely because Rukia came to see Ichigo

During the final chapter this line “didn’t you guys say you were bringing your kid?” Suggests that they’ve been regularly meeting and Yhwach hasn’t appeared before now so clearly it has nothing to do with Rukia

Instead Yhwach’s remnants appear when Ichigo is surrounded by the people he cares about and swore to protect throughout the series to cheer for Chad in a boxing match. That’s his happiest moment

I really don’t mind people having ships (even though it’s not personally for me) but when you purposefully twist scenes to fit your narrative that’s when I take issue and won’t hesitate to call you out of your bull. Thx for reading
