I read 'The character of Physical Law' by Richard Feynman when I was a college girl, but I don't know why I never read the last 2 chapters.

Unforgivable, because the famous quote "I think I can safely say that nobody understands quantum mechanics" is found in chap.6, p.129.

The aforementioned quote, from chap.6 'Probability and Uncertainty - the Quantum Mechanical View of Nature', would leave no hope for the unfortunate students to understand #QuantumMechanics.
But, reading the entire chap. 6, you understand the meaning of that quote.

What #Feynman means is that we can't expect to understand Q. M. through traditional models; we must not ask "But how can it be like that?" because you will get "down the drain, into a blind alley from which nobody has yet escaped. Nobody knows how it can be like that"

Now I give you all a gift: 'The character of Physical Law' by Richard #Feynman.
