Some perspective. I’ll be 62 next month, low end of eligibility for SS. I’ve paid into SS all of my since I was 17.

We can agree that the amount of money I’ve paid in, is significant. The thought that it may not be available to me, stings.

2/
I’m fortunate, I receive my military pension, a pension I sacrificed for. My body and mind took a beating those 30 years and now, I’m paying the price.

3/
Imagine if this “benefit/entitlement” were to disappear? Republicans use the word “entitlement” in the pejorative. They aren’t giving me anything-I’ve paid into it and I earned it.

4/
SS is only one of the issues at stake this election. There are many. At the risk of sounding dramatic, we have already lost our way, and it will get worse.

5/
We’re watching this administration flout tradition, rules and laws, in plain sight. From using music, interviews without permission to ignoring subpoenas, and inciting violence. Reelection of this imbecile will result in a very dark future for this country. VOTE. PLEASE VOTE.
