And you would be incorrect. Police, as a whole, almost never kill anybody of any race. When compared to total arrests, police kill 0.01% of suspects. That is 1 person per 10,000 arrests. Additionally, the vast majority of people killed by police were armed and actively trying to kill officers. There were 55 unarmed shootings in 2019, which translates to 0.0007%. That is 7 people for ever 1 million arrests. Does that sound like an epidemic to you?
The vast majority of unarmed people killed were also threats and trying to harm officers so most of those were also justified.

Unjustified shootings are vanishingly rare. And trying to generalize them to police as a whole is clearly asinine.
