Adhd/asd etc isnt cute or funny or awesome its actually really life draining, fuck yall neurotypicals for romanticizing it
Also, nt people: i recommend listening to nd people rather than claiming you know everything about autism(etc) after reading one outdated article about it all.
Ive told so many people before that using high/low functioning terms is offensive to us nd people, considering those terms were literally made up by a Nazi, but they just shrug it off.
If a ND person says something is offensive, listen and learn. Dont be so full of yourself and actually try and understand us.
A good side of autism is:
Special interests, it personally gives me a lot of serotonin but can get in the way of daily stuff. We're passionate about stuff.
Some ppl can get a long with animals really well!

Theres a lot more good traits of autism but its late and i cant think rn :(
For me, i can only talk a lot when spoken to, but when i talk i am very polite and nice even when its a stranger. A lot of people expect me to be mean and annoying because im so quiet, but i just dont know how to start a conversation
Another good part is that i can memorize dates n places very well, this comes in handy a lot hehe
And yes you can definitely feel pride with having autism!!!! But nt ppl, please just dont romanticize it.
Also saying stuff like "omg im so autistic i cant stand this not being straight" is offensive as fuck and dont say "everyone has autism", they dont
your brain isnt the same way as ours

Sorry for this thread being all over the place. But having autism can be great! But a lot of people still suffer a lot from it, which isnt great at all. Autism has jts bad n good sides! Everyone is different and experiences their own thing when having autism.
All i wanted to say that although you might wish to have adhd or asd, you should know that it also brings anxiety and/or depression. It isnt quirky, and can be very exhausting sometimes.
