Hello @uber @UberEats @Upworthy @businessinsider hi please read thread. I’m struggling financially and through a friend I got money for breakfast before work for me and my partner. I ordered at 5:59am (essential worker) for a 6:55am delivery and by 7:10 my order delayed to 7:25 https://twitter.com/bubblesbutter6/status/1300035808548786178
I cancelled it and now uber is telling me to “make sure my order is accurate next time” yet the restaurant was already ready to deliver and the uber app wasn’t calling no driver. I feel like this is deliberate swindling and daylight robbery. see below @Upworthy @Uber_Support
Here is my tacking @Uber_Support @businessinsider @Upworthy @mashable proving I ordered at 5:59 am and now I’m being told my order should be accurate? Look at the first time in pic one then the delivery time on pic 2. Same order I can confirm the order number.
Hello @BuzzFeedNews I know this thread is a mess but follow up with me on @Uber_Support ‘s shady financial dealings when it comes to a service they don’t complete fullfilling. This is affecting poor people like me who rely on essential jobs (which @Uber_Support made me late for.
Just to be clear:
Order made: 5:59am
Restaurant called: 6:40am and 6:53am and they said the food was ready but uber wasn’t updating them on anything
Arrival times: first 6:45am, then 7:05, 7:16 then 7:25
I cancelled at 7:25 because obviously my food wasn’t coming & I was late.
