In the countdown to applications opening for our first intake to the MPhil in Modern and Contemporary Literary Studies we’re going to post one fun fact about our course per day.

1. Our course administrator is called Diane, which gives all communications a fun Twin Peaks vibe!

2. Our course director, Professor Darryl Jones, @ProfDarrylJones only moonlights as a Professor of English. His main job is Victorian occult detective, solving supernatural mysteries. Here he is in suitably Victorian attire revealing the murderer to a roomful of guilty suspects.
