BEN JOHNSON

Club - West Ham
Position - RB/LB
Age - 20
Ownership - 3.1%

Price - £4.0m
Ben has started just 4 games in his Premier League career, all coming last season.

What is fascinating about this is the fact he played both RB twice and LB twice, highlighting his ability to play with both feet.
He had a run of 3 starts for West Ham in the final 3 games of the season.

Watford (H) 3-1, 90’
Man Utd (A) 1-1, 90’
Aston Villa (H) 1-1, 90’

His only loss as a starter came earlier in the season v Man City, in a 1-0 defeat at the Etihad.
He was deployed as a RB in Frederick’s’ absence v Watford and Man Utd, but upon Frederick’s’ return in GW38, Johnson switched to LB in Creswell’s absence.

This paints the picture that he is first in line to be trusted when either Fredericks/Cresswell miss out.
With this, he could be a very good enabler at £4.0m and could see a run of games again in a West Ham shirt.

Potential Bargain Rating (PBR) - 7/10
JARRAD BRANTHWAITE

Club - Everton
Position - CB
Age - 18
Ownership - 6.1%

Price - £4.0m
Branthwaite is similar to Johnson in having getting a run in the team at the end of the season.

He is the 4th choice CB, behind Keane, Holgate and Mina, but impressed in his 4 appearances for Everton.

Injury saw Mina and Holgate miss the final games of the season.
Appearances for Everton 19/20

Wolves (A) 3-0, 45’
Aston Villa (H) 1-1, 74’
Sheffield Utd (A) 0-1, 90’
Bournemouth (H) 1-3, 90’

One clean sheet in the sole victory over Sheffield United in GW37 was Branthwaites only taste of victory for his club last season.
Despite this, Ancelotti has recently reiterated that he will stay at Everton as they see him as adequate cover at CB.

He was linked with a loan move away as part of the Doucoure deal with Watford.

PBR - 6/10
IAN CARLO POVEDA-OCAMPO

Club: Leeds
Position: RW/LW
Age: 20
Ownership: 0.5%

Price: £4.5m
The ex-Man City man joined Premier League newcomers Leeds United back in January, playing 4 times in the Championship.

He played RW twice and LW twice, showcasing his adaptability to either wing.

He was a constant starter for the Man City u23s, 37 games, 6 goals, 8 assists.
Appearances for Leeds 19/20

Cardiff (A) 2-0, 13’
Fulham (H) 3-0, 7’
Derby (A) 1-3, 77’
Charlton (H) 4-0, 28’

Poveda started just 1 game for Leeds last season, but did record an assist on the final day of the season v Charlton.
The 20 year old remains an exciting prospect for Leeds, and with the ageing talisman Pablo Hernandez, Poveda looks to be the perfect candidate to replace. On the wing, he will battle with Harrison and Costa for minutes.
Pep was a great admirer of Poveda, and claims Bielsa has the power to unlock his potential.

Here’s a little look into Poveda’s abilities in the attacking 3rd. ⬇️ https://twitter.com/sportinglifefc/status/1220782361383784451
I can see Poveda being a real talent in the future and won’t be surprised if he gets a good run of games for Leeds this season.

PBR- 9/10 ⭐️
EMILE SMITH ROWE

Club: Arsenal
Position:CM/AM/LM
Age: 20
Ownership: 0.6%

Price: £4.5m
Emile Smith Rowe spent the 2nd half of last season spent on loan at Huddersfield in the Championship.

In his time there, he was a consistent starter, starting 19 games, recording 2 goals and 3 assists.

He was named on the bench for the Community Shield, but did not feature.
With Arteta’s fondness of rewarding youngsters with minutes in the 1st team however, do not be surprised at ESR’s inclusion in the side this season (given that he stays).

He was well liked at Huddersfield, and has also spent time at RB Leipzig.
Arteta also rejected an approach for Smith Rowe this season from Monaco.

In this thread by @ScoutArsenal, it shows how influential Smith Rowe was in the Championship. Check out the entire thread! ⬇️

His impressive numbers beat the likes of Benrahma, Eze and Pereira, the latter two now plying their trade in the Premier League. https://twitter.com/scoutarsenal/status/1298268370274406404
If Smith Rowe can work his way into Arteta’s plans, their is no reason he can’t turn out to be a decent fantasy option.

PBR- 8/10 ⭐️
