To make my personal position clear:

Companies which have moved to work from home should attract reduced tax. So should their employees. As a reward for reducing demand on large-scale physical infrastructure, producing long term cost savings and environmental benefits.
This isn’t a party politics issue, or a Brexit issue, or any kind of left-right up-down nonsense.

We all deserve better than a system which preserves the wealth of the talentless and bleeds the rest of us dry.
But this present an unfair advantage. It supports job creation and those homeworkers support local economies with funds once wasted on commutes.

The infrastructure savings could then be used to support all other areas of the economy.

This is how we eventually rebalance it all.
