Organising the small event for @womenoffuture recently, I realised that my knowledge of prominent women in both UK & Malaysia is not diverse. So I've been reading up a lot more and found out some names that may not be as familiar to many. #thread #powerfulwomen

This 2018 article lists prominent Black women in Britain. I must admit I only knew of Zadie Smith before last week... I couldn't find lists for Asians and women from other minority background.

@VickiTreadell 's recent tweet on #NoorInayatKhan was eye-opening too, am sure there are more women who contributed & sacrificed but their names are lost in history.
I am more familiar with names of feminists from Peninsular Malaysia compared to Sabah & Sarawak, too. I'd like to ask for people to reply to this thread with names & background of women from Orang Asli, and those from Sabah & Sarawak that deserves more recognition.
