Full disclosure: I was a racist, sexist, homophobic, nasty little shit as a teenager. Why? Beats me. Maybe cuz everyone around me was, & I guess I didn't know any other way?

By senior year I had broadened and realized how bad my former self had been, so thankfully I got better.

So it irks the shit out of me to see people playing purity tests on others because the latter didn't realize the error of their ways soon enough.

If someone comes over to the side of good, I'm not going to scold them for the path they took; I'm just gonna openly welcome them.

I'm sorry that I didn't "do better" as a youth, but I can't change that.

I guess you can rub it in that you did better at an earlier age, if that makes you feel cool, but I'm going to move on and welcome anyone looking to improve themselves at any time.
