Ok so I’ve just finished watching 26 videos on literature and visual arts and reading the comments and i realise my videos are not gonna be big lol and we need to get more diverse group of people into the history of art. The only people watching this type of video are pretentious
Nerds who disrespect women and alt right cunts who romanticise old western civilisation and the type to be like “that’s REAL art”. I wouldn’t wanna make anything for those audiences lol. Hopefully me including modern artists like T S/wift and pro wrestling takes away both.
But it’s depressingly bad if they’re the only two types of people into content that I’d wanna make. I’ve gotta come up with a way to make it cool again to be into arts analysis again. But not in a pretentious way. IDK guys it’s hard. It’s funny in a way though, cause even most of
These pretentious dudes watching portray themselves as of higher intelligence than modern art, yet they completely focus on the same thing what they criticise modern art of (materialistic) and they can’t even respect women enough to take in their knowledge and respect it
Leaving these sad ass messages. It’s hard though, because these dudes are all over art analysis videos,which probably scare off every one else and make it uncool to be into art and analysis of it. I want my legacy to be to help everyone get into the history of art, no matter what
That is. Whether it’s a kid that likes pro wrestling or teenager into pop and romcoms. Someone shit on Bridget J/ones diary on the Tol/stoy vid and that’s something i wanna counter. But it means nothing if i only get these type of audiences, who will reject me lol.
Sometimes i doubt my ability to get people interested and realistically these dudes are interested because they’re the only ones represented in old art/literature. Anyway yeah, it’s a problem , I’ll have to come up with something, hard tho, just some thoughts, end thread.
