I’ll be honest, I had never heard of neopronouns. All it took was a quick google search though, it’s that easy folks

Just wanted to post this though to let people (like myself) who aren’t as up to date that it’s cooler to just look it up, learn it, and accept

Also—I might be off about this, forgive me, but it seems like the younger generation is really making some of the biggest waves. Like just the fact this says it’s a NEW category of pronouns...can’t imagine anyone I went to school with being so simultaneously sure of themselves
amongst a time of also feeling unsure of themselves, they set a new standard and help instate the way in which they decide to be identified.
Basically what I’m trying to say is the kids are more than alright, they’re the future.

PS I know that the path to gender discovery isn’t exclusively for young people and don’t wanna take away from work that older generations have put in in times when even more people were even more prejudice! Just wanna commend the young generation on their ability to not only
continue the fight but (I feel like this is fair to say? in many ways, lead! I hope I’m not off base with this, but I feel like the confidence of young people is inspiring us all and I hope that doesn’t take away from any of the lifelong battling others have done!
I never get on twitter but I got on today and saw this tweet and it just made me happy bc my little cousin recently told the fam they’re nonbinary and they are so proud and unabashedly themselves in a way I never was at 16. I can tell how much happier they are and it inspires me
And I love learning and I owe it to my lil cous to continue to learn whenever I can! I can’t wait for them to bring up neopronouns next time I see them and be so impressed when I already know hahah
PS, might as well make this thread longer bc why tf not at this point, if anyone is concerned at all you should know my Aunt and Uncle are very accepting and my grandparents live in France but they ordered a nb flag and showed it off during our family zoom to show support hahah
