Chadwick was an amazing talent but he wasn't the only one who was young, gifted, and black. He reminded people of that in his speech. He played Black Panther and Jackie Robinson and Thurgood Marshall AND James Brown. That's a real tribute to his talent ... 2/x

but maybe it's also an indictment of an industry that only really feature a couple of black leading men at a time. Maybe we should listen to what he is saying. We are failing and EVERY industry needs to nurture and give opportunities to the young, gifted, and black. 3/3
