Recalls some events in Irish History, 1913 Lockout. 1916 Easter Rising, she & a friend were looting from a sweet shop in O'Connell St. Recalls being taking into the GPO for their own protection, remembers seeing the
wounded James Connolly sitting on a chair. Recalls The O'Reilly in the GPO. Also being taken out of the GPO to safety by an Irish Volunteer. Recalls the wife of The O'Reilly killed in action 1916, had an add in a newspaper looking for her husbands watch & ring was taking from him
in a lane off Moore Street by British Troops. Recalls, General Sir John French. Remembers a British informer being ordered out of the area by the IRA. Also the Black and Tans. Remembers her IRA boyfriend killed in action during the burning of the Custom House, 1921
Remembers being taken to see the grave of IRA volunteer Kevin Barry, hanged in Mountjoy Jail, 1920, her friend's father was a prison warder took them into Mountjoy Jail. Remembers the funeral of Michael Collins. Also some of Monto’s famous Madams & prostitutes.
