I feel like for years leftist feminists I know have been all, “You know, leftist sexism has been a persistent problem for forever, in fact it’s part of what inspired the second wave of feminism” and leftist dudes have been all, “Nuh uh” and now we have Aaron Coleman.
It’s really depressing to go read feminist texts from the 1970s and realize that a lot of what they are grappling with is STILL HAPPENING NOW
Like there are so many Marxist feminists who just complain about the shittiness of leftist men and the need for feminism as well as Marxism and... sigh

I mean read this and tell me it doesn’t sound like it was written yesterday and not fifty years ago http://www.feministezine.com/feminist/modern/The-Politics-of-Housework.html
This thread was inspired by seeing people talk about anti-sex work bullshit in leftist circles and like, come on, people, there are 1970s era Marxist feminist essays about how under capitalism all sex is work and sex work is just an extension of that
