The evidence supporting Kyle Rittenhouse as defending himself is rather significant. If you want me to change my position, you'll have to present something more than outrage & projection. To start, there's footage of him fleeing from his original assailant, Joseph Rosenbaum. https://twitter.com/iDanSimpson/status/1299775930274115586
This video matches Rittenhouse's account, in which there were shots fired prior & he was immediately faced with Rosenbaum attempting to seize his weapon. This was prior to him shooting anyone, and he is clearly trying to deescalate.

There's additional video footage of Joseph Rosenbaum taunting others, who were present to deter looting and arson, as we've seen for months prior in Portland. This also matches Rittenhouse's account. The man saying "Shoot me, n*gga" at the end of this video is Joseph Rosenbaum.
In addition to this, Joseph Rosenbaum is an ex-convict, who was imprisoned for sexual misconduct with a minor. Since he is deceased, registry has taken him down, but it's possible to substantiate this through an archived webpage listing offenders.

After the second confrontation, in which Rittenhouse was attacked by two armed men (one with a firearm, the other with a skateboard) which he shot, he can be seen walking toward police with his hands up, and surrendering.
He later returned home to Illinois, and turned himself in to Antioch police. Which makes the claims that he was fleeing or resisting arrest rather dubious, on the face.
