Patrick vieira wasn’t as technically gifted as some of the others on this list,for example the likes of Lampard and Gerrard however he was a monster in the midfield.He was instrumental to the success arsenal had when being invincible in the premier league.

Although paul scholes may not have the stats compared to the likes of Lampard and Gerrard he was a different player and there have been very few like him.

Roy Keane was the greatest midfielder in premier league history.Not only this but he was the best captain to ever grace the game.
