2020 salary data for Baltimore City employees just dropped yesterday, and we've already published salary and overtime data for @BaltimorePolice officers on http://bpdwatch.com . Let's take a look at some of the top "earners" for 2020. 1/
In second place, we have Lieutenant Brian E. Pearson, who made $248,091.61 in 2020, and that includes $128,799.61 in *overtime alone*, which is more than his annual salary of $119,292.00. https://bpdwatch.com/officer/2056
Next is Sergeant William Harris Jr., who also made more in overtime in 2020 than his entire annual salary. Harris took home $243,549.64 of taxpayer money in 2020. https://bpdwatch.com/officer/1147
Next we have Sergeant Thomas Mistysyn Jr., who *almost* made as much in overtime as his entire annual salary. In 2020 he made $237,389.62, which includes $115,340.62 in overtime. https://bpdwatch.com/officer/1833
In 5th place is Lieutenant Mark A. Walrath, who clocked $113,190.50 in overtime and took home a total of $236,631.50 in 2020. https://bpdwatch.com/officer/2792
In fact, 1311 out of 3180 @BaltimorePolice officers took home more than $100,000 in 2020. That's 41% of the entire police force.
