It’s just not a story I’m super invested in, personally. I’ve never really nailed down why.

But so much of what it did was awesome. A primarily non-violent protagonist in SW is admirable. The comedy was genius at times. The found family game was strong. The Starfighter sequences were incredible (that asteroid field!!!). And the Colossus is a thing of beauty.

To that point, one of the most infuriating things about TROS to this day is the fact that these characters were not featured prominently in the Battle of Exegol. The Colossus should have been front and center, along with the aces, no different than the Ghost. There’s no excuse.

@ChristopherSean should have at least had a voice cameo in TROS, but I think he should have been on screen, particularly because of his connection to Poe. It’s such a missed opportunity and I will never forgive them for missing it.

Not to make it too much about TROS, but it’s clear that something happened during its production that led to Resistance being cut short. I hoped we might learn something at Celebration this year, but we all know how that went.

I’ll close out this thread by saying that Hopefully they actually close out the stories of these characters at some point in another medium. Kaz and Poe need a moment, post-TROS, to reconnect. That’s important for Poe’s arc. But also, Kel and Eila, Mika Grey, Synara...

So many of these characters held potential that was never fully realized. Clearly they have more stories left in them. I sincerely hope we get them one day.
