Nothing will be promoted in this thread. Just do something nice for a Black person today.

I was so excited to see Black Panther on the big screen. Probably more than any other comic book character.

Blade is still an iconic character. Wesley Snipes is not only a dope actor but a skilled martial artist.

Before films like Blade not many studios invested in movies about Black Superheroes.

Kendra was a a Vampire Slayer just like Buffy. We didn’t get to see much of her but she was definitely a hero.

Her character inspired Buffy to embrace her slayer calling.

Nikki Wood was a vampire slayer as well. She was only shown on Buffy during flashbacks a hand full of times but she was an important part of the season 7 plot.

I would have loved to see a series about this.

Charles Gunn is a self taught vampire hunter in the buffy universe. A bad ass character who held his own.
