FOUR THINGS I LEARNT FROM TWITTER THIS WEEK

1. Humbly with Faith; Ask for Help.

This I read a thread on finance by @greaterbayo. I did an inspired thread on investing.
I informed him and asked for a follow. Amazingly, he did. Thank you Sir @greaterbayo https://twitter.com/Ngwoke_Ifeanyi/status/1298853590711382018?s=19
2. Push Your Work. It will be Seen Someday. It will be Acknowledged by that Big Personality Someday.

I tag big Bros like to my post. @OgbeniDipo @akeula_trendy @henryshield

This week for the first time, @henryshield liked my thread.

Thank you Sir!
3. Be Quick to Show Gratitude

Brother @akeula_trendy and @ToyosiGodwin have always sent my post to a larger audience with their Retweets.

This week I did a short thread on IMPROVING YOUR RESEARCH SKILL AS A WRITER. https://twitter.com/Ngwoke_Ifeanyi/status/1299393740054966272?s=19
Almost immediately, Bro @ToyosiGodwin retweeted and I felt so happy at that moment. It was as if I got an endorsement on what I do.

I rushed to his DM and told him how grateful I am for his consistent support. Sometimes, he makes suggestive comments too.

Thank you Sir.
4. Carry Your Own Social Weather into Twitter

This week I saw a post that reads, "Your worst sexual experience?"

I took my Christian conviction to the reply, and said, "Unmarried people, sex outside marriage is fornication." My reply had over 25,000 impression in a few hours.
Different persons made different comments. Each time I see my notification, I was either insulted, mocked and the rest. A few persons supported my position though.

At first I felt bad, and almost depressed. Then I shrug it off that I wouldn't reply anyone. It kept coming.
I'd to delete the reply the next day.

I really felt what people say about Twitter this week. I made up my mind: I'll come here with my own emotional bias. Whatever happens, I won't let it get to me. I'll learn lessons and move on. Have a mind of your own here.
Bonus Lesson: One Mistake, One Consequence, One Opportunity to Learn, Many Options for Growth.

I normally make my comments on other people's posts and fill up the last space with a link that refers to my post.

I do this selectively though especially on public handles.
@MrOdanz did a thread to say that people should not promote their stuffs under mourning or sad post.

I don't do that. However, when I acknowledging his position on his thread, I still promoted my pinned tweet and then @MrOdanz blocked me.
At first I felt bad. Then I carefully thought about the things I could gain from following him that I would miss out on.

I took the lessons graciously and made up my mind to be more careful. Later I made a decision, that I'll work hard until he'll see my stuffs and unblock me.
This is a Brief Summary of my Twitter journey this week.

It was up and down. Thank God for the lessons and growth. I became intentional about twitter last three weeks and I've gained a lot.

I won @vinnydrey N5000 summary writing price too. @hadizel liked my tweet this evening.
Thank you everyone!
