Emi - 8 Part of another back to front goal. I rate Leno extremely highly, yet I legit am coming to the point where I think we’re better suited with Emi . Nothing to do for the goal. Brilliant and big on 2 Mane chances.

Heccy B - 7.5 Couple of wayward passes early on. Settled in excellently, showing good feet and positive passing. Really think we’re going to see him return to his best this season should he stay. Holding - 7 I’ve said many times he doesn’t enjoy that RCB position, however today he looked reasonably comfortable there. Rumors of a loan deal to Newcastle, think that would be a good move for him to get proper game time. Job well done today.

Luiz - 7 Play him in the center of a back three with something to win, he performs. Period. Liverpool goal very jammy, no one of particular blame. Great pen. #Arsenal

KT - 7.5 Best left back on the pitch . Nothing particularly spectacular but he rarely looks uncomfortable out there. Overlapping run freed the space for Auba’s strike #Arsenal

AMN - 8.5 MOTM. STAY PLS. Rock solid in pairing with KT, Salah found no joy. Joined midfield at times, clear that Arteta has massive trust. Surely the manager values higher then the prices we’ve seen bandied about. How fucking cool was that pen #Niles #Arsenal

Elnenners - 8.5 Honestly not a bad player in this system lol. This 343 asks very little of CMs and Mo can do the job . Fair to say that he’s only playing out of necessity however don’t be surprised if he’s in the squad this season. #AFC #CommunityShield

Xhaka - 7.5 Tidy, showed confidence dribbling on occasion. Could be just a bit quicker in his passing on occasion, missed Aubameyang on a chance in behind. Rock solid in front of our defense. 27 forward passes. #Arsenal #Gunners

Eddie - 6.75 Solid against a top team. Really feel comfortable with him as our back up striker and excited to see his development continue. Had a nice low strike forcing a save that he probably wishes he hit a little cleaner. Sloppy in the second half

Saka - 8 Absolutely brilliant on the ball. His close control/technical ability is a treat. Obvi no comparisons in career trajectory but his football has touches of Messi. I see why arteta thinks RW could be his future. Brilliant assist to Auba, great ball for eddies chance.

END: Typically do a rating for Arteta and Subs however didn’t want to injure my fingers in preseason much like a player would hate to tweak a hamstring
