What I want from Manchester United in the next 3-5 years | Mini Thread

OGS to set foundations for the next manager:

OGS’ contract runs out at the end of that 21/22 season. By then I expect him to have set a good foundation in the squad with fitness levels vastly improved (which he’s already done), more squad depth and a good squad in general.

We should then work to bring in Nagglesmann for the 22/23 season. He’ll hopefully have a good squad which is good at pressing etc as well as a prime age Martial, Rashford, Bruno etc. He’ll also have a 20 year old Greenwood. Attacking numbers always improve under Nagglesmann

So there is potential of this front 4 is mental (then throw in Sancho amongst others). I would go for for Nagglesmann over a more defensive coach like Conte because we have already began to play more attacking and expansive football and if we went for a Conte

We’d be back at square 1 again. Hopefully in the next two years we’ll win a few trophies under Ole and hopefully be around the title picture, I just don’t see us winning it yet. I’d also like to see a director of football brought in. This is for obvious reasons.

Apart from the obvious tho, if we recreate what city did in there recruitment of Pep with Nagglesmann, we could help one of the best managers of the next generation move into the job seamlessly and actually want to come to us. I also expect us to have promoted more youth

as the youth we have in the academy is quite good atm and I’d like to see them get more game time through loans or even first team games as it’s better than the u23’s
