Internationally the biggest issue isn't sex tourism or child brides (both important), it's refugee and immigrant abuse. I cannot emphasize enough that the vast majority of sex trafficking targets marginalized groups and relies on authorities not caring about "those people".

I can cite and source you reputable anti-trafficking charities and agencies but in every country around the world the biggest impediment to stopping child abuse and unfree labor is the Thin Blue Line crowd covering for their buddies taking payouts to cover it up.

If your friends suddenly seem obsessed with human trafficking, specifically sex trafficking, but don't call it a racism issue, can't talk about antiblackness & MMIW & ICE
