why are people so focused on bisexuals "benefiting" from straight privilege. the only way to benefit from straight privilege is to be straight. bisexuals can PASS as straight if they're dating the opposite gender, so they might not be called out by homophobes on the street, but +
their partner might abuse/fetishize them for being bisexual. people who already know that they're bisexual, such as family, can hurt them because of it. bisexuals who aren't out yet can feel miserable for hiding their true identity. bisexuals DO NOT have straight privilege. +
bisexuals not being called slurs for holding hands with the opposite gender isn't "straight privilege". THERE ARE NO LAYERS OR FORMS OF STRAIGHT PRIVILEGE. to benefit from straight privilege, you need to be HETEROSEXUAL. passing as straight =/= straight privilege. +
as said before, bisexuals face abuse for their sexuality in other ways. stop ignoring the problems bisexuals face because they're not beaten up for kissing the opposite gender in public. BISEXUALS DO NOT BENEFIT FROM STRAIGHT PRIVILEGE.
