I find it amusing how some ppl choose to ignore this important matter. There are so many cases which come into light and many which aren't even talked abt.
I hope that this thread doesn't go unnoticed

Assault against women and men and children is increasing day by day. We get to hear stories about rape almost every second day. Where are we going as a society? Where are we headed? Are we really humans? From a months old child to the woman of 80 years have been r*ped!!

The most recent case being in Karnataka's Hassan district. Where a man throws a brick on a homeless women so that she could be unconscious and he could lay his hand on her. The other person could have stopped the man and helped the woman but chose to back out.

I hardly saw ppl speak abt the same.

The Nirbhaya Case.. It took fucking 8 years to get her justice?? When everyone knew that the men were guilty then why wasn't the justice served? Why was the family made to run for years only to have justice for their daughter? Also the juvenile was left, in my opinion if a minor

Commits such a crime he/ she shouldn't be considered as a juvenile . Its a heinous crime and once committed you aren't a minor

In Nov 2019, Priyanka Reddy went through this. What was her fault? Trusting someone, who was helping her? She was r*ped and then burnt
Asifa Bano a 8 year old innocent child beared the torture. Well in this case she was r*ped in a temple. Irony!! You worship a goddess

And don't know how to respect her. The 8 yr old was drugged, strangled to death and hit by a stone.

These are just few cases, there are many more which had come into light but I don't have the courage to put it in words of how horrific and terrible is this

This one still stands out to be the most barbaric one in the history. She was treated like a punching bag, she was fed cockroaches, she was urinated on by the men. Why did she suffer all this? Just because she said No.

Most cases don't come into light because the society might judge them. But you can't go through shit like this just because of the society. A person I know is harassed and beaten but chooses to be silent and take in all the abuses and the lashes given to her.

Idk who needs to hear this but please do take a stand against such issues. Just because it doesn't concern you at the individual level doesn't mean it doesn't concern the world. The world needs humans and not monsters. Teach your children to respect others, educate them.

Hold them accountable for their wrong actions. And to everyone pls speak up if you go through something, speak up if you see someone else struggling. You could save a life. You could stop a heinous crime.
People can trend something as irrelevant as binod and rashi.

But can we stand united and demand justice for all those who have been through this? I love how ppl are dedicated and demanding justice for SSR can we demand justice for the ones who have dealt with harssamemt/ rape. Can we deliver justice to them?
