Some interesting tribal developments in west #Deir_EzZor in response to the #ISIS massacre of NDF fighters two days ago.

The sector commander & most of the men killed come from the Busaraya tribe, one of the largest tribes in Deir Ez Zor and historically based in this area.

Feelings of abandonment by Damascus are reportedly high and the tribe has taken matters into their own hands.

I'm told Sheikh Muhanna Fayyad began mobilizing thousands of tribesmen yesterday w/ NDF weapon depots opened to the new "Forces of the Fighters of the Busaraya Tribe"

Meanwhile a massive convoy of Busaraya elements of Liwa al-Quds have arrived in Deir Ez Zor today, led by a Busaraya commander.

Sheikh Muhanna himself is on the "frontlines" as well w/ a Busaraya contingent from the Qaterji Forces. This force will reportedly be joined by the Liwa al-Quds convoy above & Busaraya NDF men.

This is a massive grouping of fighters, thousands of tribesmen conducting a semi-independent anti-ISIS operation. ISIS will almost certainly hunker down and no fighting will occur.

After this "operation" the new tribal force will reportedly merge with the Deir Ez Zor NDF.
