Huge improvement in organisation. Players knew their jobs and the shape was very clear to see. Cruel to concede so late but a promising performance never the less against a fairly strong Spurs side #BCFC [thread]

Prieto 6. Didn't have a lot to do but looked decent. Not convinced by his kicking.
Colin 6.5. Got forward well at times and did ok defensively. Pretty standard performance.
Dean 6.5. Much better than last season. Lots of talking. Occasional small error but a definite improvement

Friend 6.5. Solid. Lots of talking and played a few nice balls into midfield. Think his presence helped Dean.
Pedersen 6. Did OK. Very narrow at times which allowed room and space to put the cross in.
Kief 6. Won the ball back at times. Played it simple. Not much else.

Sunjic 6. Again, won the ball back but sloppy and rushed in possession. Not a bad performance but still not convinced.
Bela 6.5. Grew into the game and did well in spells. Difficult with no senior striker to aim for.

Crowley 6.5. Probably a bit harsh. Could've been a 7 but was hindered by no senior striker to aim for. Linked up the attacks well.
Lakin 6. Did better than expected but not much else
George 5.5. Difficult for a young player against experienced defenders. Worked hard though

Reid 5. Didn't cause any problem. Difficult to have any affect on this game off the bench.
Bailey 6. Wanted the ball and tried to start attacks. Again difficult to influence this game off the bench.

As a reference. 6 is a decent performance. 7 is a good performance. 8 is a standout performance. 9 is having a game changing influence. 10 is being unplayable.

Verdict: Pleasing to see us defend well. A big 90 minutes in the legs. Leko/Sanchez and Toral needed. Desperate for a striker who can play in a 4231. Gardner should start over Kieft. Still think we need a #1 keeper.

Jeacock, Seddon, Roberts, Bajrami, JDC, Davis, Medina, Miller, CBM, Bailey, Reid. Hopefully some game time for Toral and Gardner. [End of thread]
