no one cares but here's a thread on my opinion about the iland prediction posted on reddit

even before part 2 starts, ive always noticed that the producers paid 0 attention to geonu, especially vocal wise, if you watch iland, you'd immediately notice geonu's voice especially how he did high notes and still be stable but none of the producers seem to care

and it was proven during part 2 after he got eliminated despite rapping in a low voice which is the first time he did on the show but again the producers did not care about it

and since ep 1, you could see their "favoritisms" or whatever u call it. it started even when the trainees were first entering iland. bang pd complimented certain trainees which now makes sense if the debut line up is actually pre-planned before iland

but here's the thing, despite noticing that they did not give any attention to geonu through out part 1/2, i think that he was part of the 12 member line up which was pre-planned here's some of the things i noticed on part 1 ep 1

as trainees enter the building, they complimented each of them but they mostly complimented the final 12

1st unit : youngbin, jake and sunoo aka crown trio

rain and zico complimented sunoo and youngbin saying that they were good looking but bang sihyuk has some other stuff to say for jake unlike for the other two

bang sihyuk probably didn't have sunoo in the line up and was only added due to how popular he is

2nd unit : niki, nicholas and hanbin aka jopping trio

its the same thing. they complimented how good looking nicholas and hanbin are but they gave some side comments for niki only

i also think that hanbin was not in the line up just like sunoo as no producers really cared about him during part 1 just like they did with geonu. they didn't even let him step on iland once. but they added him because of how big his fanbase is

3rd unit : jaebeom, jimin and sungchul

they didn't even showed them walking through the forest unlike they did with the first two unit. the producers did not say anything except for how jaebeom knew how to write songs but that's it

4th unit : daniel and ej

they complimented daniel A LOT especially how handsome he is and did not say a word about ej. daniel was even the first one to have a solo interview with the black bg

5th unit : jungwon, yoonwon and taeyong

out of the three, they only complimented jungwon saying that he looks pretty and bang sihyuk even told rain and zico to pay attention to his voice. the only thing they said about yoonwon and taeyong was that "everyone is young"

6th unit : geonu, kyungmin and jaeho

the only time they paid attention to geonu. they did not say anything about jaeho and kyungmin

7th unit : k

8th unit : jay and sunghoon

the most extra entrance out of all the trainees. they gave them cool music as they were walking inside. they really made jay and sunghoon look cool and intimidating

9th unit : heeseung

out of all the trainees, i think heeseung got the most compliments from the producers, visual and talent wise

10th unit : seon

they only talked about how he's been training for a long time and called it a day

last unit : taki

the most memorable entrance esp for me because of how he got A LOT of compliments from the trainees themselves and even from the producers that he is very cute. they made taki's entrance very known

even without rewatching the episodes, i could tell which trainees are bang sihyuk's "favorites" and other producers' "favorites" thats why i really think that the 12 member line up is pre-planned

and with mnet's rigged system, i wouldn't be shocked that somewhat the debut line up is pre-planned and the way bighit is really smart about marketing, it would make sense that they did iland just to gain fans even before debut

ps. i did not create this thread to make drama this is just what i noticed bcs with mnet's ugly ass, anything is possible
