JÄį¹
gala desha has dry & arid land with thick evergreen forests. The climatic conditions are extreme so it is predominant with Agni mahabhoota. These conditions make the people living here strong & with sturdy bodies. They are prone to joint problms. N. India falls under this.
Änupa desha has marshy & humid climate & is near the sea level with coconut trees, lakes & rivers. People residing here are mostly delicate and more prone to illnesses as a result of weak digestive strength. Goa, Konkan, Some parts of South India fall under this category.
SÄdhÄraį¹a desha has all factors in equilibrium thus is the ideal land from health perspective with healthy people that fall ill less often. All three doshas are in balance. Planes of Ganges in India are an example of this type of land.
The understandin of these regions & their charac is imp as the herbs, crops & trees tht grow in these regions will have similar properties.
Since every region has a particular list of diseases that the ppl there are more prone to, the plants tht treat those 2 are available there

The molecular makeup of every being that lives with you in co-existence in your region is similar.
Thus, the crops that grow in your region provide the highest nutrition as they are more in tune with your body, the herbs that treat the most common diseases too are present here.

If you look back, during ancient times, our ancestors followed a rule of repeatedly eating same indigenous veggies & fruits than indulging in too many variety foods. In Marshy lands, simple rice & fish/solkadhi too provided the perfect dose of nutrition. No fancy food was needed.
With improved transport facilities, the import & export of foods began with exposure to more food varieties. Thus began a new age of degradation of both mental & physical health.
Import & export of food means storing the food for long periods till it loses the "Pranic energy".

Every living being has "Prana" that charges it with energy. This #prana sustains for a few hours after picking the fruit or harvesting the crop. Once stored for days, the essence in it is lost, so practically you& #39;re eating a dead fruit with less nutrients as against a fresh one.
Imagine a strong & sturdy Punjabi eating rice that grew in Konkan region.
Not only will it not make him feel strong eventually, it will also start making him feel hungry more often bcoz it grew in a region where ppl have weak digestion so the food that grows is lighter to digest.

Further, we see a rise in #allergies across the world due to eating too many foods grown in completely different climates around the world. & #39;Cause the body can& #39;t recognize the foods at molecular level leading to disrupted digestion, constipation & the food allergies.
Besides, eating local is equivalent to eating seasonal.
What grows in the season, is what protects you from seasonal ailments. Eating everything all year round has gifted us an array of ailments that we& #39;re all witnessing already.
