Black Panther was and is an important film, regardless of what you thought about it rarely in my lifetime have I seen such an emphasis for ppl to go see it and support it financially in cinemas across the board. Even Marvel naysayers such as myself had to see it.
It was such a good vibe all around when that film was released, there was a lot of happiness and hype to see a black led (directed, acted, costumed, music) film and it did not disappoint. It was fun, it was badass, it had an important conflict at the heart of it ...
Idk how to end this thread frankly other than it's truly saddening Chadwick Boseman has passed away, the happiness & excitement Black Panther brought and what future potential it ignited still feels so recent in memory and Boseman was the face of it.
