Oh btw

if you're experiencing pandemic brain fog?

This is normal. I haven't seen any articles on it yet, but I've had a lot of people the last few weeks worried about it.

It's normal. It's not you.
The jist of what's going on, and remember twitter isn't for nuance this is a JIST....
is remember the time dilation we all (most) experienced? Where a day seems like a year, and March was 74 years ago.
We've all been in a state of hypervigilence on many levels. We're facing new threats. New threats on MANY fronts.

And for many of us, that's been going on a long while, with it ramping the fuck up to 11 this year .
How your body/brain does this is a bath of chemicals, stress hormones, blah de blah.

That's also why many of us have more aches and pains too.

So yeah this is just the natural point at which people are hitting 'overwhelm' point, plus ...

it's becoming a normal state. This is your life now, your body thinks.
And it's trying to adjust. And you've been moving in a slow motion car wreck for months, years.

So as your body goes, oh okay this is never fucking ending, and certain things 'stablize' you feel like you're in a brain fog. You may feel 'dull' or even stupid.

This is ...normal
Given what you're going through and what we're all going through.

It's sorta the same way you might get the shakes after a big adrenaline rush.

It's not just you and I'm sure we'll see articles on it soon like the other stuff. ;)
Oh.

And I'm not even joking. You might forget this and have to remind yourself of it. I've had to tell Amy this about six times so far.

Bookmark the thread if so. And again, it's not just you, and it'll pass.

It's a rough time. <3
