having a childhood spent in hospitals is a strange thing. people talk about endoscopy/colonoscopy like it's rare, and i guess it is, but ive had so many? people talk about MRI/CT like it's not common too but i had so many the nurses had to ask to give me a break..
surgery? ive had tonsils, gallbladder, and J-tube placement. it's just so... weird. being so familiar with hospitals, procedures, surgeries. i even got numb to it all after a certain point.. this last time was my first time getting upset over it in many years
if anyone is ever anxious about procedures i am always here to try to help ease the anxiety. it's okay as an adult to be scared or anxious too, especially if you've never gone through one. no real reason for this thread other than getting thoughts out
