USA and UK: It's fairly obvious that both countries are being pushed, artificially and deliberately, into states of crisis. I think most people are still underestimating the danger. Hegemonies can collapse quickly as well as gradually.
The synchronicity is striking. Trump & the Brexit referendum occurred in the same year. No Deal Brexit & the US election result will be implemented simultaneously.

A glimpse of what is occurring online around both events should terrify anyone. Psyops/propaganda on a vast scale.
Historically, large-scale social and political earthquakes have occurred after any great technological revolution you care to name.

The speed and aggression with which digital tech has been weaponised is horrifying. Don't assume our societies will escape the same fate.
A faceless enemy that's concurrently everywhere and nowhere. That is both here, in our most intimate spaces, and out there, in a vague region called "cyberspace". Simultaneously the elephant in the room, and so obvious and ubiquitous we are incapable of seeing or questioning it.
Who can fight that? On what front can the battle properly be engaged?

When even mainstream broadcast media are uncapable or unwilling to address the extent of the problem, and seem to be deliberately relegating those who do ( @carolecadwalla) to the margins of debate?
In conclusion: USA and UK are the most active fronts in the war on the West.

You know those causes you care so passionately and vocally about? There are bad actors on ALL sides of those debates, pressing those buttons, sowing conflict and division. Think you're immune? Wise up.
